Of Stephen Mayne:
"He declared in a boastful and revealing radio interview last year that he "always votes with Oppositions.""
Gee that's a positive outlook on life, isn't it?

I don't have a problem with political parties having dirt units at all. The real issue is whether they are tax payer funded and if the files are collected from ASIO and other relevant government agencies. The government should not be using it's executive power to spy on the private lives of individuls.
My case in point is that the Labor Party didn't even need a dirt unit to expose Abbott he did it himself nobody needed to do anything. We will never know what files this Government have used.
The culture of secrecy in the Government means that nobody is game to speak out.
The Prime Minister is far from perfect and should realise that pretending to be pious will only get you so far.

Wow! Newsalert!
Tony Abbott stated the obvious. Political staffers research the backgrounds of MPs on the opposing side.
Would anyone be so stupid as to suggest that Kevvie and the Bruvvers don't do exactly the same thing!
As for ASIO conspiracy bullsh!t!!!! Do you realise the jail terms that would be served if ASIO files were used in this way? Only ALP filth like Murphy tried those type of stunts re ASIO files.

Byron of Wahroonga,
You are obviously unaware that information provided by public officials in good faith to ASIO and other agencies for the purpose of security clearances is misused by stooges within Commonwealth Departments.
