Figures are meaningless without a Liberal Party candidate.
I agree with Randy - this is a disaster for the Greens.
Twenty something voters voted informally - obviously Liberal voters who couldn't stomach the idea of voting Greens (probably from lurking on this site??)
In otherwords, the Greens have not gained ground. They can shout about the vote they got but it was like going to a boxing match where only one contender turned up...

Normally a government would be expected to defend a 5% swing against it at a by-election. BUT a 5% swing to the government on primary vote is impressive to say the least.
