What can I say about this? Well, I'm not sure yet, there's a lot of feeling in the community on this issue and can I say...the Government has not done enough on this issue. We will do better, we will fix this issue, even though we don't have a policy on it. Clearly this is a dirty tricks campaign orchestrated by a tired Labor Government.

We are the Kroger. We will assimilate.
And now, thanks to Ted's insistence that Julian shaft both those responsible and those not- we come with added laughter at his incompetence. Cheesy's twenty pieces of silver will be now cross-factional backing for the rotten borough of Higgins.
Ted's failure to see the forest from the trees means he now creates a story out of what would otherwise be nothing, and perhaps hastens his deserved demise. Well done mate. They gave you the rope, and you're proceeding to hang yourself with it. Ever consider the possibility that maybe the finger might need to be pointed a little higher up?

This is an outrage! This is a clear violation of your Human Rights!
This is a clear breach of the Right to a Fair Trial enshrined in the Charter of Rights which I myself sponsored through parliament.

If these two boofheads were such bright sparks in the "campaign unit" how come the Vic Libs have not won an election in Vic for over 12 years? Sounds like a dud campaign unit to me. Sheezel should be sacked too after all who was supervising the two quislings? Were they involved in the decision not to stand candidates in the 2007 by-election? Could this be the end of the Costello/Kroger faction? Should Helen Kroger withdraw as a Senate candidate as she was Vic Div Pres until recently or was the blog a later effort after she finished as President. Speaking honestly I like Ted Baillieu but though his media was a bit woody at the start but I think he is firing on 12 cylinders now. If people have got comments or critisims they should be open about like me and not hide behind anon blogs and anon tip off - pathetic stuff. Regards, Liberal member 1994-2003.

You are right 'Collins Street' of course Sheezel ran a rotten shop, and he wants to take it to Higgins! Wake up Higgins Liberals - if you want to annihilate the Liberal Party just continue to support the known present contenders for Higgins when it comes up.
The Morgan/Osborn/Kroger/Costel0/Kemp/ supporters are the same ones who supported the last real loser - Robert Doyle. This cabal have a great record
at putting up and supporting big losers.
Wake up Victorian Liberals - get rid of a few more like Morgan and Osborn and support your new Director
and the Parliamentary Leader in Victoria if you ever want to see another state Liberal Government.

I had not heard of this anti Ted blog and having just read it. I wonder why they bothered writing it - boring !!Was anyone reading it or was it just set up to deliberately get exposed to undermine Ted? Were the two sacked quisling going to leave in any case and get a merchant banking job in the UK or USA? Andrew your blog is much more interesting.
This issue has now been reported on the evening TV news and I just rang two Liberal friends who had heard all about it too. I have the Sunday Age home delivered so it should be interesting.
PS: Liberal membership fees are due in March and the two sacked employees should be entitle to a refund assuming there party membership could be affected as well - I know all about that. Sheezel did not give me a refund - the filthy grub - when I was suspended for 12 months on 13 Jun 03 for opposing the Iraq war and the oppression of the Palestinians.
Incidentally it appears every second Israeli MP is in gaol, going to gaol or should be in gaol - check out the AJN online. Perhaps the sacked one could get a job with the AJN blog site.

Morgan and Osborn have done the right thing - to publicly embarass and humiliate the leader of the opposition is to uphold the Menzies Legacy.

Also Evil Bastard, I can rejoin the party if I want to (fat change however) but the complete tools responsible for the anti Ted blog (not just the 2 fall guys) are finished in the party and probably in many business circles. Who would trust someone who uses company resources and probably company time to undermine the boss. Further they were so dumb they also got caught - I bet they went to Uni to learn that.

AJ, I suppose you could rejoin the Party, but your membership would be suspended, given that you resigned the day after it was suspended. By the way, I thought it was suspended for only 9 months.

Anon it was 12 months but you could be correct on the other matter but after 12 months I would have membership fully restored. Anyhow 9 years of it was enough for me. I have never met so many wankers and drop kicks like Kabos, Foskett, Purvis (now deceased Bo Ho Ho), Kraine, and Shardey to name a few. particularly in Melbourne Ports FEC, except for about 12 OK people out of 500 mainly non effective members in that FEC. No wonder they never beat that creep Danby. Also wasn't Sheezel campaign manager for a Monash Province campaign that the Libs lost (when Peter Katsambanis lost his seat) but he still was made Director of the Vic Div. Peter Principle ??

Could you tell us why you were fired from the Metro News?

I wasn't fired. The paper got smaller (40 to 28 pages)and my column started getting reduced after Jack the owner died (I was not payed so I can't be fired incidentally). Jack (the owner) rang me to invite me to write a column about a year before he died (I never met him face to face eithor) and when he died his children took it over. I got bored and left and I was not fired as you put it. ADC or someone like them peddled that myth I think.

The ironic thing is that John Osborn, who has so vehemently attacked welfare in the past, will probably be finding his way to the the nearest centrelink office in the near future. He certainly will not get employment with anyone in the party again, and he doesn't exactly have the best resume for any good job in the private sector. I would really hate to be in his shoes right now.

Fitch 3.05am: see my similar comment at 1.37am (really 12.37am as Andrews clock is 1 hour out) but what will Sheezel do without his Merchant Bank mates? If Kroger employs him it is condination of the "crime" and if he does not and the money does not come in his wife may divorce him. She may do it anyway if she is a honest Liberal (don't know anything about her).
