The excise tax on petrol is a vague, arbitrary tax by politicians on an essential resource. Pollies have an insatiable love of tax. The Victorian Government has just provided gangland boss Tony Mokbell with a luxury flight back to Australia - $450,000!
This bleeding of the public purse allows politicians to spend widely and broadly on favourite projects and useless things like Tony Mokbell. He could have been sent here on a commercial flight for a tenth of the cost.
Get rid of the petrol excise tax altogether you rotten, stinking, political crooks! You're killing us!
