I think it is truly hillarious, the likes of the Jackson posse accusing anyone of being self serving! Please people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
And really what a romanticised and revisionist account of the Labor Unity/ NUW split!
The Jacksons are just annoyed they didn't get Northcote. Get over it. Getting into bed with NUW will not do HSUA any favours. It will be a disastarous marriage of convenience. May prove amusing though as it unravels.
Diane Anderson doesn't like the NUW. A suggestion was made at an LU meeting that they invite her to join the faction but Steve Bracks screamed and that was the end of it. Don't think she would have joined. She is much too much her own person.
