Current rumours are that it will all be academic. Kooyong is a likely Labor gain.

I don't like the look of this Frydenberg chap. He's worked for John Howard you know. And John Howard has betrayed the Menzies Legacy. Frydenberg should therefore have no right to take over Menzies' seat.
The seat once held by Menzies should instead go to someone who will honour his Legacy. I hear there are a lot of Age readers in Kooyong. And The Age loves me. That's why they publish my work. I know that they are motivated only by an alturistic desire to see the Menzies Legacy properly upheld and that they truly believe in Menzies' values. That's what they told me, so it must be true.
Make way Petro - I am on my way to upold the Legacy!

Kooyong deserves to be represented by only the best. A Chiropractor will not do. Only a physiotherapist will suffice for Kooyong.

I heard from a reliable source that Alan Anderson was poking his nose around here. Alan doesn't think much of Josh (or anyone for that matter) and sees a vacuum for a safe seat. But his sort of arrogance would be about as successful as Josh's. What would Downer do? Ex Staffer V Adelaide born and bread?

I hear the Joshie fancies himself as a bit of a pantsman.
Did you hear about the time he took a nice young lass on a second date?
I gather he took her to the Kooyong preselection as his partner for the day.
One thing all the young girlies love about Joshie is his prowess at tennis. Afterall, he is the Kooyong Tennis Club Champ!
Fatty, perhaps you need to take up tennis?

I remember when Georgiou first ran for Kooyong.
It was before the annual spring racing season/Melbourne Cup. the Greens/animal libbers were polling well, but had proposed a ban on horse racing (on 'animal welfare' grounds.) I wrote to the candidate enclosing some examples and suggesting he dig up more of their press releases, and Green Left Weekly-type articles, on the subject. Recommending, that he circulate them as widely as possible amongst the pseuds and doctors' wives that infest that electorate like bubbles (he he) in a bottle of Moet. That course of action would have delineated their Green sympathies (which after all, are a mile wide and an inch deep) with their Liberal roots and, if cleverly worded, forced them to choose between Cup Day and voting Green. Of course Georgiou did nothing and ended up having to go to preferences to win Kooyong. Preferences, for a Liberal to win Kooyong! Beyond pathetic. Turnbull's trying the same sort of please-everybody campaigning in Wentworth and running into exactly the same quandary.

I wonder whether Josh has realised yet that he isn't going to get far without the support of either faction. Sorry to say this Josh but I'm guessing Cossie will give the nod to his advisor Alan Anderson before yourself. It's called trying to play both sides, eventually you get caught out.

Alan Anderson would never win Kooyong.
He would fail in Kooyong because he is from the wrong faction. Kooyong is Jeffista territory. Krogerites are dreaming if they think it will ever be theirs.

That's all it would be "a dream." Josh has as much chance of being pre-selected for the seat of Higgins as the great Alan Cadman has of finally becoming the next PM of Australia - after the disendorsement.

No, the 300 year old man is warming the seat for the 150 year old woman to take over after she was shafted for her "Senate" spot. Remember the 150 year old woman is in the "Inga, Finn, Synon" faction. The poor old has beens.....
