Just_In McKeegan you are not quite correct. The second most senior Liberal is Cr Wayne Phillips who is the Mayor of Banyule. He became Mayor after Labor rat Cr Anthony Carbines refused to back Cr Dean Sherriff for Deputy Mayor. A deal would have seen Sherriff as Deputy (yes funny play on words) with independent Cr Tom Melican as Mayor. The Bronwyn Pike Ministerial Advisor Carbines brought everything undone.
The only question is did he do it because Craig Langdon MP told him to? Could it be that Wayne Phillips got there because of Craig Langdon's support?
The answers are obvious.
