If he does, he won't go anywhere important.
If it does, the shooters down Geelong way will go out of their way to cane him at the next election, as he's seen to be very opposed to shooters.
He's got a track record.
The suggestion is he'll be Cabinet Secretary, not a Minister as such.
Not sure about his views about shooters etc. Why don't you send him an email on his Blackberry and ask...

Add to this the forced resignation of Thwaites by ALP insiders has cost Victorian taxpayers a further $350,000.
