Hmmm. Could it be an absess. Sure I've seen a pic of something very similar to what you've described...I'll check and see what it says.
Hmm - just says take to the vet as it may need to be sutured.

Yeah- that's exactly what I thought too, Sham. I think she just chewed it open, and I wound up cleaning it out. But, it's scabbed over and looks quite small, so I'm not too concerned. Thanks for the info!
