Sweet Jeebus, let's hope not! They run rampant in Brooklyn, what with all them hipsters dragging in furniture from the curb. Vile creatures, and nearly impossible to get rid of! (The bedbugs, that is ... okay, and the hipsters.)
But could it be fleas? Or poison ivy? I thought we had bedbugs, too, but it turned out I just had hives from some fancy lotion. Looked a lot like your rash, matter of fact.

Actually, poison ivy's not a bad idea. It's certainly itchy enough for it.
There is no evidence in the least of bedbugs on my linens or mattress. I've put white cotton sheets on with no mattress pad, and will be on the lookout for spots of blood.

No. Google is your friend here, unless you find that they're something worse.

You can't diagnose bed bugs based on the appearance of bites.
Some people get no visible reaction to bed bug bites. Some get welts, others a rash, others marks that look like pimples.
They look like they might be scratch marks. But then the question is, why were you scratching? Don't panic but educate yourself about possibilities, including learning about the signs of bed bugs, and stay alert.

Thanks nobugs. I actually spent a very very long time on your site. They do look like scratches, but closer up they're actually bumps in a row.
