Wow -- beets come in quickly, don't they? They're triple-cropping off those spaces (although I know the late-season thing is just a green).

I've always heard neat things about Ag. Extension people, Master Gardeners, and the like, but I imagine those people get bored after a while, especially given how over-qualified they are for what they get used for.

I generally hold some form of disdain for most master gardeners. Not because they are bad people, mind you. They just work so hard to get a title and then seem to know everything...
Oh well, I'm sure there are some nice ones out there somewhere.

And really, I'm sure plenty of people around here call peonies, pineys.
