Holy cow! That's one nasty accident and a Friday to boot! I bet that put a damper on the beach traffic for a while.

When I was driving in to work this morning I was somewhat concerned to hear that they had to close the eastbound lanes over the weekend to repair a section of the freeway that had MELTED because of the accident.

Luckily there was no residual backup of traffic, though I did notice the patched area.

I suppose I should be lucky not to have to use 40 everyday. That place is a mess. Even more so when it rains... stupid people forget how to drive.
