Why hello to you too!
Fresh figs are just about the most heavenly thing ever.
I noticed a few tiny figlets on Josh's not-dead-after-all fig tree today. I've never had a fresh fig, can you believe that? Peaches, on the other hand, I LOVE, especially straight from the tree. Lucky you!
Also, will it ever rain again?
Here's hoping it rains tomorrow and Sunday...
And we need to get fresh figs for ALL! (I know of a few secret public trees, heh)
Actually, it would be awesome if it did not rain so much Saturday, because a film project run by one of my best friends depends on it. But I am all for figs, especially in Newton form.
Well, let's hope it rains all day except where and when your friend needs it to be dry. Deal?
And yes, I could handle a newton or twelve right about now.
