I can't help for your particular town, but check out the mechanics files at www.cartalk.com.

Crossroad European on 54/55 is pretty good, though pricy. We've taken Dave's BMW and my Subaru there. Bill takes good care of us.
I'm sorry that you have such a long to-do list. Actually, I'm sorry that you feel like the list is in charge of you, rather than the other way around.
I've been practicing yoga for about 5 years now, and one of the things I've been trying to learn is how to "be where I'm at," let go, and accept what I have and where I am. Of course, it's a constant learning process!
I'd love to take you to one of my yoga classes any time you would like to go, if you are interested. If you have time.

My pal (and your neighbor) Richard likes one of the mechanic shops at the corner of Rosehill and Markham -- but which one?! I'll ask him.
As you may know from my blog, I'm a huge fan of the folks at Ingold Tire (where you once picked me up, thank you very much).

Also, my friend Kaaren* likes the folks at Walker Auto across from the Food Lion.

I get a lot of stuff done at Ingold Tire, but I know a lot of people who think there's nobody better than the guys at Wasp Automotive, at 54/55.

My life is pretty much like this too; I find it helps to put some fun things on the list. Like a post yardwork beer, or some friend time, because it all gets a bit overwhelming otherwise. Plus, I also find if I split things into short term/long term things, I get a bit less anxious about the long term things. And I deliberately don't do yardwork in the heat of the day, because of the whole sunburn thing and it's much less tiring to do in the morning or evening. And it always feels good to cross stuff off!

PS I would write off that $20. It's probably be going to be more than $20 worth of hassle. And there's a slight possibility he might feel bad about it. You can stiff the next roommate instead!

Deposit paycheck?
Please tell me your workplace offers direct deposit
Unless you like going to the bank once a month or twice a month ( whatever your pay period is) then you could spend that time doing stuff you enjoy... Worming, gardening, yoga, or drinking some yummy frozen fruit concoction

Every one would love to work for his/her satisfaction. If it is not there it is very hard to work even it is very interesting. The attitude really matters in our satisfaction.
