Why don't they just analyze the records from the 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries ..... Oh wait .. they haven't got enough data ... imagine that..
From what I have learned, especially from Malloy at Junkscience.com is that the noise in the data is so great that the current measurements are too slight to be considered valid. So we can't even be 100% certain that global warming is actually taking place. In addition there are so many inputs that contribute to global warming, if it is real, that to ignore all but human influences is just plain wrong.
Just wait. in a decade or two we will hear about catastrophic global cooling and the impending ice age and how Humans are the cause.

If we are the cause of global warming and the solution is to tax us and charge extra for controls, does that mean that when the temperatures drop naturally and we hear about global cooling the solution will be to give the money back to those of us who earned it??

What puzzles me is there is no legally proven justification "yet" for a carbon tax, or even declaring CO2 as a toxic gas, and it's totally bazaar how a system that is suppose to work on facts, is totally collapsing under propaganda. Then again, maybe not. It's a heck of an easy way to line politicians pockets.
You are absolutely right. The alarmists have been yelling louder and louder that CO2 is a pollutant. If you tell a lie often enough then people start to believe it. Now our Supreme Court is deliberating over whether the US auto manufacturers have to control CO2 "emissions" and hence if they can be sued due to "high emissions".
