The cyclone that hit Myanmar was considered to be Asia's perfect storm..It was just so sad that such country considered as part of the third world was tremendously suffering from such disaster..There are millions of them left homeless and needs relief specially food,clean drinking water and medical aid..The good thing is there are many people and countries as well who are ready to give their help and support for the victims of the cyclone but the disappointing and sad part is that Myanmar's military government still tightens to accept those helps..Let us hope and pray for their speedy and healthy recovery..
You are so right. With so many countries and individuals trying to help, it is outright criminal they way the military government is putting up roadblocks to stop the aid to their own people. This catastrophe has already become far worse than it needed to be because of government beaurocracy (sp?)
