I apologize for being not here enough but work just has me stretched too thin. I try to keep it current when the storms are active and I very much appreciate all the readers that come by. During Hurricane Dean I was really pleased and humbled to see the number of people who came by to read what I had to say.

I am also grateful for this site. I find it boring, too intellectual, and almost as if you have to take a class to listen to most of these people. You lay it out there for me in a non-scientific (and scientific) way that is user friendly. THANK YOU!

I hope you don't mean that I am boring or excessively intellectual. That is my fear and I wouldn't want to come across like that. I'm also willing to admit when I am wrong unlike the weather guys that get paid for it.
