A lining sounds like the perfect solution!
Next time, you'll find a pattern with drape that will be perfect for bamboo.

A fabric backing is perfect, L. Thanks for the info on bamboo. I had no idea.

hello,
i am surprised about the bamboo yarn.
i am a parisian designer and have created a necktie also and was thinking of using bamboo silk (viscose is vegetal silk) as an alternative for this tie.
i will let you know when i finish mine.
in the meantime please check out my blog to see the tie.
