Getting organized sounds like a wonderful idea! We live the same way. Everyone has to ask me where stuff is, because I'll say, "It's on the floor, next to the closet, by the sweatshirt". The sweatshirt still on the floor =( So I should take a page out of your book!

I have some yellow cotton that some red wine was spilled on a while back. I imagine when I use it I'll have a similar effect as you have with the bleaching.
It made me laugh reading your post as I have spent the morning trying to find a taxation document for my partner, and cannot find it anywhere. So frustrating, so it seems I need to do my filing as well, although the document has not turned up yet. I love all the washrags too, I knit one last year, and yours look wonderful in all those great colors.
That's the same conversation we had when we worked on our taxes a few weeks ago!
Heh! Fortunately bleach doesn't matter to much on a washrag. Still functional!
I love the embroidery hoop effect. So nice to keep a little bit of Baby Girl's clothes, too.
One of the young ladies in my knitting circle is crankin' out those mason dixon washrags. i've gotta crank out a few of my own! love your sweater posted below, it's absolutely gorgeous and looks comfy. i agree, baby girl has got fantastic taste; just like her mama!
