So interesting that she did NOT mention that Daniel had to do the skirt twice and chose the material for it....Maybe we would have seen a different bottom 2 had she done so. thanks for these interviews BPR!

Yes, in a way Kelli saved Daniel by asking him to remake the crappy skirt. The judges always ask which designer was responsible for what. So Daniel would have said that he made the skirt. Also, it was his design and he chose the fabric for it. So, he might have gone down for the skirt if Kelli hadn't asked him to do it over.

you know Kelli was one of the few people who deserved to be one the show! 3/4 of the people on the show were casted because the producers thought that they have personality . Or maybe there are no more designers left after 4 seasons?
i wont to ask the judges : Did u really think that Kelli deserved to go and Blane to stay? or did Blane stay because you think he has TV personality?
You know what , if you are gonna turn this show into circus at least bring people with real personalities!!!!
I was very upset to see Kelli go!

Before Michael and Nina sent Kelli home, i would love to see Michael make something himself in 8 hours all by himself without his pattern makers and sample makers and Nina critique and comment on it
BTW: they both have very low budget comment !!!!

I have been watching Project Runway since the first minute. I also plan to be on the show someday. I have never been so mad! Kelli did not deserve to be sent home. On the first episode, she won because of her unique creativity using ordinary things from a grocery store. She also had never been in the bottom three. That overly tanned little brat, should have been the one to go. I want the shows judges to know they made a mistake on that one. Kelli's design, even though wasn't the best, was better than his. I also think that when you have a gay male judge on the show he tends to be bias. I can state the obvious, because I am a gay male designer. I also know that Kelli didn't deserve to go home, Kelli if you read this, I think you are one of the funniest designers on Project Runway, with the exception of Christian and Jay.You are also the kind of designer that can create an image, beyond what has already been done, don't let the judges egos distract you from your talent.......Also Daniel owes you his place on the show.....If he had not messed up the skirt, which is one of the simplest patterns, your design wouldn't have been in the bottom. The first challenge you showed you could make a wearable, beautifully designed skirt out of a vacuum bag. The hook 'n'loops you created out of notebook binding was one of the most created ideas ever on Project Runway. The judges need to replaced with a fresh crop, especially Nina. Thank you..... Bobbie

Isn't the outfit Kelli has on in the pic accompanying this post basically the same outfit that she made for Brooke? There is a strong slutty component to it. I think this is really her aesthetic, which is fine - there is a huge market for that type of clothing but it was wrong for this challenge. I'm in the camp that says she should've gone home. She needed to make the outfit look expensive and there's many ways she could've done that - the first one that comes to mind is better fabric choices. Picking fabrics with some lushness to it - after all, Brooke's character makes millions of dollars per year. She doesn't have the scrimp. The suit looked like it was from Forever 21 and it needed to look like it was from Barney's.

While I find Kelli very talented, her outfit was not done well - none of it was appropriate for the challenge. I actually did not mind Blane's outfit. Though not the most appropriate either, I thought it was done better than Kelli's. If given the choice of the person to go, I thought it should have been Daniel because his contribution to the outfit was bad and frankly, he hasn't done much up to this point. But I understood while Kelli was chosen to go - as the leader, she would be on the chopping block. It was dissapointing as I think she is very talented but I understood.
Thanks for the podcasts, I enjoy listening to them!
