I can't wait to own a Jillian Lewis garment! Yay for Jillian putting another line out. I do think she will sell much MUCH more than her competitors, she understands what most women want to wear, she's designing for the majority, not the minority. GO Jillian! I'd love to see some backless summer dresses like you wore on the show, those were great!

Psst, Jillian... things above a size six would be greatly appreciated. Well above size six, to be honest.
There are a couple of jackets I would commit mayhem for, just for a start. Hint, hint, hint.

Don't bother making Plus-Sized clothes Jillian. Real designer labels only make sizes 2-12. Obese women can just buy a Butterick pattern and make it themselves or lose weight.
Also, I don't know what kind of medication you're on but you need to change it to something that makes you speak and think less like a zombie.

I really enjoyed this podcast and hearing more from her in her own wordsin a much more relaxed arena!!! Girl can talk, can't she??? Thought it was great and wish we had seen more of the fun moments and it was interesting to hear more of her point of view. Didn't I hear her say her line was going up to size 14?

That was nice of Jillian to do the interview.
I think its easier and cheaper for people no matter what their size to buy something at a store. I am a size 4. The stuff I make won't look right until I get the zipper in (the end when it is done). It takes some time and patience to sew things.
I have been shopping on hsn.com lately, a lot of Lukastyle. And there are as many positive comments by plus sizers as there are by the XS. So some have the knack for pleasing everyone. I think Michael Kors sells a lot of 12s too.
Let us know where your stuff is. Hopefully it's not out of our price range.

The AVERAGE woman's size in the US right now is a 14. That means that there are plenty of ladies on both sides of that spectrum that need clothing and have the money and inclination to look good. In my opinion a business savvy person would want to tap into that audience.
That said, I really looking hulking huge standing next to Jillian. She's got to be a size 0 - or a 00. She's really pretty in person - even more so than you can tell from photos - and I attribute that to the fact that her personality and her warmth makes her even more attractive.

I know, but I thought I should at least give Jillian some good advice
(in lieu of all of the Plus-sized, potato chip eating, blog surfers' comments that don't add up to a hill of beans)
Don't be mad at me or Jillian or any other designer who doesn't cater to your zaftig butt. Lay off the Haagen Dazs and go to the gym!

Aw, Jillian said the show helped her deal with her shyness. She said "it hurts to be shy" so it's been a gift to be able to go out there and lecture and interview. I think that's wonderful and I can relate to the shyness.
I also love that she said to women to "embrace the curves"
I'm an even bigger Jillian Lewis fan now and will definitely be purchasing one of her pieces for my daughter.
Congratulations again Jillian! I did not know you read these posts.

Yes, sweetheart, I'm the fitness Troll!
Hit the gym! Get healthy! Eat Right! No snacking after 5pm!
If you follow these simple steps you might be able to wear Jillian's fabulous fashions! Instead of trying to make her feel bad that her designs won't fit you.
Ugh- some people? Why me Lord? Drop the fork!!!

Nice interview. Jillian is a sweetypie.
I'm a guy, or I'd wear her cloths. Well -- I must admit I do want to put on some of her jackets too! LOL

ya know...
I've been thinking about the whole Posh thing and her saying "I wouldn't wear anything from Jillian's collection"
Quite frankly who cares what she would and wouldn't wear in this context? Second, that should not be an issue or point of contention in judging a collection.
Tim Gunn or Michael Kors wouldn't want to wear any of Jillian's collection (well maybe they would) but you get my point!
Because it's not their personal style should not come into the decision making process. If it was a different judge, we really may have had a different winner.
OR, of course it was all set from DAY 1 and it could of been Donna Karen or Zak Posen judging and they still would have edited out their comments and picked the winner they wanted. lol!

Sorry to disagree, but I really wouldn't advise that anyone above a size 6 wear the majority of Jillian's clothes. It would do no favors for a fuller figure. (I am a size 8 myself and would not wear Jillian's clothes.) She does good designs for women shaped like herself, though.

I think Jillian is great and I am glad that her line will go up to a size 14 which really isn't that big at a size 14 your just a little more curvier however if she plans to past a size 14 she should make a separate collection as the aesthetics should be a little different I am a plus size woman who is going to the gym and working out but until I get to the size I would like too be I would like to look good in the process I don't understand people idea of lose weight okay fine but I still would like to dress nice while I'm doing it..
