I want to eat that sandwich right now. Seriously. My lunch was two granola bars. I'm hungry. Hungry for that gigantic sandwich.

I can't believe I missed that meatloaf at Melt! Tears. However, a vegan turkey sandwich with sage stuffing sounds fabulous! Hopefully I won't miss that this month! Yumm!

Oh damn, yum to all. I had a Popsicle and some Vega for lunch, cursedly busy workday! I feel so undernourished now. And jealous of someone's stomach enzymes, which is kind of a radical new low.

Yeah, that sandwich was fantastic. I hear that this month's is killer as well. I'm not sure at this point if I'm going to give birth to a baby or a grilled cheese sandwich.

Jain: I had the recipe at some point because my friend gave it to me, but I tried tracking it down yesterday and haven't a clue. Perhaps if she reads this, she'll pass word along. *Hoping it really hard*
Suz: Holy shit, if it's a grilled cheese sandwich, you better FILM THE SHIT OUT OF THAT.

This may be a random question but im thinking about attending a university in athens, and I wanted to ask how you as a vegan liked to town. I havent known anyone who has been there who is vegan, and im worried that if I go there I wont be able to be comfortable. Thanks

I actually was eating vegan while I was there as well, and they actually are pretty vegan-friendly. And it seemed even MORE vegan-friendly having visited again a few weeks ago. I actually really really loved going to school there and recommend it. The campus and town are gorgeous. And it really is a nice place to live. So yeah: I think you'll fare well as a vegan there. And I think you'll find yourself meeting other veg*n folks as well since there's a nice activist/hippie subculture there.
