You're welcome to play but play nice!

Gravatar We all live for those moments. I love the interaction with students and their obvious happiness at just learning things. It's teachers like you who go out of their way to help students that give us a good name. Unfortunately, we have a tendency to dwell on the bad students, bad parents, and bad moments. We need to keep our prospective. Besides, it's the end of the year and we have our recharge time to look forward to. It's like golf, you can have a terrible round, but when you hit that one sweet shot you are quaranteed to be back at it again.

Gravatar Just putting out all kinds of fires, aren't you? Good for you on giving the student a leg up! It also kind of sounds like she didn't have a plan on HOW to get the report written. Sometimes our students just see the obstacles and cannot figure out how to overcome them when the first step is talking to teachers and asking for help!

Gravatar Congrats. Moments like that are few and far between for teachers. When they do come, we (as teachers) are renewed, reinvigorated, and ready for my action. My lovely bride and I call it "filling our bucket." Congrats again.

Gravatar I am proud of you, Greg! Those moments are we have decided to be teachers. It just cements the reasons and makes them more valid. 6th hour may test you over and over again, but those small moments make us gloss over the rest!

Gravatar Have a great Memorial Day!

Gravatar Now that's a teacher! Good job.

Gravatar This was one of the highlights of the semester, that's for sure.
