I don't agree with Bush's proposal, any of it. Building a wall will not stop the flood from coming here. I agree with you that his proposal for those already here is nothing else but amnesty: El mismo perro con diferente collar.
Also, the guest worker program will be the same thing Germany had with the Turks, who eventually stayed there and never went back to Turkey.
I live in California and if there is one place where Mexicans have taken over is here. And of course, there are those who don't have pelos en la lengua to tell you that this was theirs.
