So in other words, in order to be known as a "hawk," you have to support every proposed military action, no matter how stupid and misconceived (as in Iraq, the woeful results of which we read every day).

And why would you think that someone who has signficant experience in real combat (like Murtha) would hesitate to throw his weight behind a war while someone who received 5 (FIVE) deferements for a war he supported (Cheney) might try to ignore the human cost?

To support this undisputedly failed war at this point, my friend, is to be the real extremist. Welcome to the 33%. Enjoy the ride.
