Thanks for the link. There was colossal failure in New Orleans. All levels of government, including the Feds, could have and should have done better. None of them were adequate. The biggest colossal failures, though, were the levees. No one was prepared for that. If the levees don’t break, no one gets stranded, the city is back on its feet in a week or two, half a million residents aren’t scattered across the country, and this is not a political hot potato getting hotter by the day.
