I feel so bad for my parents and sister still living in new york. everything is more expensive.

my sisters house is barely worth 100,000
maybe only 90,000 her property taxes are 4,000.

my house is around 170,000 and my property taxes are 1,200.

we get the same services. why does she have to pay so much for the same things as me?

I wish they would move out west with me.....

Paterson's getting a run for his money for highest-taxed state from Wisconsin. The local Dems are looking at doubling their total tax take to give us CubaCare.
