Hi lawhawk. It is a shame that Paul Newman has died. Aside from being a truly fine actor - one of America's best, IMHO, his charitable work is something we should all admire.
Also worth noting is that he and Robert Redford started the "Hole-in-the-Wall" camp for children with deadly illnesses. Redford left the program after it was up and running to form the Sundance Film Festival, but Paul and his widow kept it going and it gave SO MUCH JOY to children who were dying, it just is remarkable.
A remarkable man and a fine actor.
