A long-time reality of politics -- young people don't vote as much as older ones do. I'm now old enough to have seen a lot of elections, and virtually every time you hear about a candidate depending on the youth vote, that politician loses.

And it never stops the youth networks from claiming that THIS election is different because one candidate (i.e. the Democrat) is turning out the youth vote. The MSM always joins in at the end. Some papers already have already swallowed the whole floater.
And it never makes a difference.
I now watch Democratic rallies with relish, laughing with Rovian deviance as I estimate how many of the attendees will actually vote. Even harder when I realize how well McCain does with the mossbacks who actually turn out.
I'll buy the 'yoot vote' for a dollar, Pat, and solve the puzzle.

Oh yeah, this is news. A young person who didn't vote in a party election. That doesn't happen every day.
