Romney seems like an attractive choice, since he served only one term as Governor and hence is in touch with the voters. And unlike Obama, he never served in any other office. Moreover, Romney has little or no interest in the issues--- which makes him a leader in the Bush tradition. Romney compares favorably to Biden, who has served 6 terms in the Senate, and (as he was forced to admit) even served in another political office before he was Senator.

Jindal is very tough on the Evolution issue... an issue which Biden artfully dodged during his speech in Springfield.

One problem with Palin is that she may be soft on the issue of the Arctic National Wildlife Reserve, which has enough oil to allow all of us to drive our Hummers and to screw our incadescent bulbs back in for decades to come. Her state is going to have to make a small sacrifice so ExxonMobil and hence America as a whole will prosper.
