Hi lawhawk - just wanted to say that I concurr in your analysis - I don't think the damn tape exists. Although, as you pointed out, when it comes to "hate whitey racism" Trinity "Church" was apparently the place to be, so who knows? Michelle has already said that when she's out of the country she's ashamed to say she's from America. Great First Lady, huh?!

Let me see if I understand you. You think this is rumor and doubt the tape exists, and yet, duplicitously you go ahead and forward the rumor. That is not journalism but filth. If there is no tape, and all you have is rumor, then the proper course is not to even forward the rumor.

That isn't what you did. What you did is a devious game in which you simultaneously advanced the story while at the same time proclaiming you don't believe there is a story. This is the gutter of journalism, and it makes the field of blogging look like amateurs and ideologues, who peddle in garbage.

Let me get you straight. You come in here and complain that I am repeating a rumor or advancing that line of thought because I post that I think it isn't true, and that I'm somehow disingenuous or misleading.

Right.

I'm trying to dispel a rumor that doesn't exist. Yet, how exactly are you to do that without actually mentioning the rumor? Ignore it altogether?

And let's be clear here - where did I get the source from? FoxNews had Beckel on, and he made that statement on a cable news show.

Larry Johnson made his asinine statements, which got picked up by outlets as well.

So, spare me the sanctimony.
