So you are pronouncing these prisoners guilty without trial, and you ask yow the SCOTUS should explain its actions?
Perhaps you could point out the part of the Constitution where those who are entitled to habeas corpus are identified from those who are not.
Imprisonment with no trial and no possibility of confronting one's accusers is pure Josef Stalin, Pol Pot, or Mao Tse Tung. I thought we were better than these brutal dictators, but apparently only some of us are.

These are individuals captured on a battlefield without any uniform. They were captured in a war and under the Geneva Conventions are not entitled to any protections.
In every previous war and conflict, such individuals could be detained indefinitely or shot as spies.
However, the Congress enacted the DTA, which did provide a measure of legal recourse, but the Court determined that such recourse was insufficient, so the Court overstepped its bounds by pushing Constitutional protections worldwide.
That's something never before contemplated or envisioned in the history of the nation.
