I know the feeling about not doing as well on clinical as you thought you were. We have similarly long assessment guides we have to hand in on our patients. But I have found talking with the clinical instructors to be very beneficial. I wish you the best of luck in finishing out your program and meeting the expectations of your instructors.

As far as the assessments go during clinical what i found was that instead of focusing on every aspect every week, if you picked one portion to really focus on and then build week after week it works. It allows a little more focus and then you can choose which assessment you're focusing on based on the patient assignment. If it's a pneumonia patient focus on lungs, if it's a patient with an ileus focus on bowel sounds, etc. And then the next week make sure that you include the previous weeks focus, probably not in as much detail but at least it will be involved. Best of luck.

I think you all will be fine, the main thing - it is to believe in it. Suppose first that it does not work, but should only make an effort and everything will turn out.

I was hoping to read a little bit more about your life as a male nursing student, especially after things got really difficult during your clinicals.
I'm just starting my nursing school journey, and I'm chronicling it in a pretty detailed way. I'd love if you would check it out. Maybe we could compare experiences!
