Honest to God, I just don't know what to make of that boy!
He's had a heckuva 2nd term, the likes of which I wouldn't wish on a dog...the stress is gettin' to him.
I don't hold him with the same comtempt I had for Bubba...but da-um, it's gittin' there.
The closest I can get to how I feel about Dub would be akin to walking in on the spouse whilst he's doinking some purty brainless young thing. It's anger mixed with sorrow and a sense of betrayal and you're just numb by it all.
WWRD?
(What Would Ronnie Do?)

Gravatar I don't know what Reagan would do. I know what he did do: not a damn thing. This problem is old. The difference is those marchers gave us ammunition to take care of this problem.

We are starting to see a change in attitude. Local law enforcement is starting to stop saying, "It aint my Job." The people themselves are volunteering. Winds of change are blowing.

The national guard thing is not a charade rather, a test baloon. This will test the public and more importantly Mexico.

Gravatar I'm hoping for the best tonight. Let's hear him out and see what he says. Most importantly, given his past performances, lets see if he actually follows through on what he says.

Despite being a Democrat, if Bush fixes this border mess and straightens out Iraq and turns that into a success and turns a lot of other things around, I would personally be willing to chisel his face on Mt. Rushmore.

Gravatar Memo to all my fellow voters (and Ms. Malkin): it doesn't really matter what Mr. Bush gets or doesn't get with respect to his base. He won. It's his candy store. We can whine and complain all we want, but he's gonna do what he's gonna do. Funny how people like that about him when what's he's doing is what they want, but woe betide him the miniute his way isn't your way.

Gravatar Two things. One, Congress will pass whatever legislation they wish too. The president will either sign it or not. Either way the issue will still be there in November.

Two, a president who is honest and does what he believes to be correct no matter the cost is to be prefered over an criminal who governs by focus group.

Gravatar What he believes to be correct in this case does not seem to be for the betterment of this nation.

BTW, Bush did announce the end of "catch and release."

Based on Malkin's post, I wonder how serious he really is.

Speaker Pelosi, anybody?

Gravatar I believe that the president is wrong about immigration. I think that his plan will be the downfall of this nation. However, I think that he truly believes that he is doing the right thing.

I respect him even though he has me climing the walls.
