I usually hold my vote to the end in case there is a tie to break, but this time I'm going to go ahead and vote now.
I vote for the Andy Griffith Show. As someone who was born and raised in NC during the time the Andy Griffith show was being filmed (I'm not that much younger than Opie) it was reality TV to me as well.
So the Andy Griffith Show now is tied with Hee Haw at 2 votes each.
Tough choice, but I have to go with Hee Haw.
Seeing as how "The Real McCoys" aren't on the list, nor is "Petticoat Junction", my vote would have to go with Hee Haw!

Now Beverly Hillbilly’s got Hillbilly right in the title so its got a bit of an edge, but Daisy Duke and the General Lee say running moonshine and kissing cousins like nothing else on television. Ya’ll know that Roscoe has busted Uncle Jesse for DUI and then let him out so he could usher at First Baptist on Sunday.

HeeHaw was a variety show that featured country western music-not just Ozark Mt. music.
Point taken about the Andy Griffith show.
The town and area where the pilot episode of the Beverly Hillbillies was set is but only 50 or so miles from me.
So, in the interest of accuracy that show should garner more votes,being the "most hillbilly", but I think some folk are just voting their hearts and going with sentimental favorites.I know that was the case with me.
The rules on what an "official hillbilly" thing can be do not require that it be about hillbillies, but only of interest to hillbillies.
The term hillbilly has come to mean anything having to do with the mountainous regions of the Southeaterrn United States. The small town on which Mayberry was based is not far from where I'm sitting as I type this.
