I beg to differ. The greatest moderate victory to date was 8 years of Bush. Bush appears to be a social conservative, but is clueless on finance and anti-jihad. I'm not sure if it's his chosen advisors(who "filter" info to their leader) or if Bush is truly clueless, but he is NOT a true conserative.
That being said, with such a group of radicals in charge in DC, perhaps real conservatives will rally and stand up and fight. Either now, by forcing the remaining conservatives in congress to take a stand, or later with pitchforks, torches and live ammo.
