I'm definitely going to direct my Taysider friend to this post... there are two sorts of Scots: the ones who are unaccountably deferential to the World Community, and the others who are still of a mind to tell he world to f off. My money's on the latter, because I can't put any money on the former.
I think the puppy is highly appropriate for the advert. Goodness! What would a Muslim do if the police came around them with a police dog? Is that offensive?
The police NEED the dogs. I think the advert is adorable. Shame on the police for caving in to the "offense". If they're that passive, then they may as well get rid of all their police dogs and next, they'll be setting up their laws to match Iran's.
The United States is also conforming to Islam. Their mosques are being set up and they allowed to broadcast (over loud speakers) their ritual prayers.
No one in the mosques seem to care that they are in a neighborhood and are forcing citizens of the U.S. to be subjected to their prayers over loud speakers.
Yet, American government caters to them. What about separation of church and state? Though, that is just a legal theory, and not a law, depending on who you ask, consider this.
The military is bombarded by the ACLU concerning Christianity. Yet, the military caters to Islam on military bases. I don't see the ACLU screaming separation of church and state for that religion.
Didn't one of our Congressmen swear their oath on the Quran/Kuran?
Want to know my political theory? I think America is about to become an Islam nation because of the politicians who are wanting to get rid of our Constitution and replace it with the laws of Iran. Americans are too lazy in front of the televisions and video games to notice what's happening to their rights.
It IRKS me that the British Empire is being taken down from within their own borders.
It IRKS me even more that the United States is next.
The enemy within is always the most dangerous.
It's even more dangerous when it is aided and abetted by liberal politicians who have only one defense to the threat of terror - engage the enemy in meaningful dialogue.
