These "extreme" guns are fun to watch in use. I remember watching the firing of a handgun, I think it was called a 454 Super Whomper if memory serves. It was designed for hand loaders to prevent the possibility of having an overloaded cartrige explode the cylinder. When fired at a paint can the energy released compressed the cinder block holding up the paint can, nothing but dust was left of the brick. I'm guessing that the 50 cal S&W I saw at a gun show was an off shoot of that revolver. Thanks for a fun video.
