Over the weekend my wife, the Biden fan, wanted me to explain why a few board meetings was "palling around". She used one board she served on where she detested and spent as little time as possible with the people on it. I countered by using a different board she had served on.
I pointed out that the ONLY meetings that Obama and Ayers are admitting to are the ones where there were witnesses or written records of attendance. There is NO mention of any other meetings as though such did not exist.
I pointed out that if someone examined her time with the second board there would be many phone calls, emails, lunches and other meetings not listed for people she actually did "pal around" with.
Obama and Ayers lived near each other. Their children attended the same school. There is no reason to believe that two men whose political standpoints were so close together would avoid contact when there were no witnesses. Yet that is what Obama now claims.
I believe that Ayers teaches at the University of Illinois branch campus in Chicago, not at the University of Chicago.
Thank you for the correction, however the point is still made.
