So you are saying that with McCain we take a chance of having another war with Mexico which we win easily, of vote for Hussein which means a sure loss to Islam, Americans are too brainwashed to see that coming and they're reaction to freeing 50 million people in the middle east (they could care less about anyone other than themselves) proves they won't fight Islam, so take a chance or lose in a sure thing. Me, I'll fight the Mexicans and win. I base that on the fact they the Mexicans they can take over America and run it. He**, they can't even run their own piss ant country except into the gutter and make living there like living in the sewer.

My belief is that McCain will, if elected, do all in his power to purge the Republican party of its conservative element. After he is through with it the conservative movement will be so demoralized and in such disarray that it will be anywhere from 16-24 years before conservatives will be able to win another election at the national level.
During that time the nation will be governed by one Obama clone after another. By that time the Supreme Court will have 9 Ruth Bader Ginsbergs on it.
The nation will have been pushed so far to the left that there simply will be no way to repair the damage.
Four years of Obama we can survive. 24 years of Obama clones we will not survive.

Sorry, but you had a whoopin' good time with Phase I of the Neocon agenda, and now you balk at the Phase II. It's time to pay the piper.
It's a package deal -- their plan is to globalize the world, which means implementing what they call the "creative destruction" of historic societies, and setting up a world government run by international corporations, for international corporations. Open Borders with the Third World will overwhelm our way of life, and any opposition can be controlled with the new instruments of surveillance and control set up under Phase I -- set up, by the way, in the name of protecting you from those nasty Islamomeanies.
It takes a powerful government to achieve a demographic revolution, and there's nothing like a juicy war to boost government's power over its subjects -- especially when the subjects are giddy from their victory dance over a puny opponent.
And it worked.

Mike,
This is why the whole retarded libertarian paranoia thing will never gain any traction. You have to believe that two groups of people who hate each other to the point of actually wanting to see each other dead are really all part of the same nefarious cabal.
If the Patriot Act has given the evil BusHitler dictatorial powers why are Cindy Sheehan and Lew Rockwell and the Code Pink wackjobs and the Ron Paul truthers and all the other brain damaged Bush hating shrieking class morons still walking around free instead of rotting in a dungeon somewhere?
Grow up, cancel your subscription to The Spotlight and stop looking for the Illuminati hiding behind every lamp post.

How sad. You can't let go of the thrill of emperor-worship, so instead of facing facts, and trying to debate me, you make a little straw man and use him for a punching bag.
No one said anything about Illuminatis flitting about. Read an objective account of what the Neocons are all about, and you'll see they're openly for authoritarian government and open borders.
Bush & Co. claim the power to declare any American outside of Constitutional protection. That is the definition of tyranny.

And instead of tossing labels at my arguments or invoking the name of Cindy Sheehan to somehow discredit it, think about it, follow the citations in the links, and see for yourself.

Mike,
You think about it. Where are the detention camps full of American citizens whose only crime is being critical of the president?
Bush is getting ready to surrender power peacefully even though the next president has promised to see if he can be prosecuted for "war crimes".
Some "Emperor".

If I warned you that your kids were playing with matches, would you brush it off by saying, "Well, the house isn't on fire, so there's no problem"?
The Neocons continue to assert the president has unlimited powers to declare anyone an enemy combatant without rights. At the same time, citizen surveillance has been expanded to Stasi levels. And that's nothing to worry about?
But my original point remains: Neocons openly advocate militarism, authoritarian government and open borders. When you cheer them on, you're cheering on their entire agenda, whether you realize it or not.
It's time to wake up and smell the creeping statism.

"When you cheer them on, you're cheering on their entire agenda, whether you realize it or not."
Mike is dead right about this. That's true though of any group you might support.
Look at how Bush acted when he was re-elected in 2004. All of a sudden, he was going around publicly stating, on film, for all the nation to see, that his re-election gave him a mandate to "reform" Social Security.
His re-election didn't give him any such damn thing. Regardless of the veracity of his or yours or Mike's or my feelings about Social Security, that is NOT what he was re-elected for.
Nevertheless, this is the real flaw in party politics. It's a package deal. If you vote for any one party, you are, whether you like it or not, voting for the entirety of their agenda, the good the bad and the ugly.
