Gravatar I didn't realize you were a fellow NY'er! The Internet is definitely a good thing. I don't think I would have made it being in the closet for so long without it... (you know what I'm talkin' about!)

Gravatar Wow. We had a '65 Fleetwood Brougham too. Baby blue with white vinyl top. Dark blue interior. HUGE backseat. The back of the front seats had fold-down wooden tray tables. The backseat passengers had adjustable footrests. Great car; wish I had it now.

OH - Happy Paddy's Day to you too. Check my blog today if you get the chance.

Gravatar My Dad was a Lincoln man. Always black. He would trade them regularly “when the ashtrays get full”.

Gravatar Jase - Yes! Born and raised in Manhattan. Lived on 83rd and West End Ave. the on 56th and 1st Ave. Graduated UNIS before moving out to AZ in 78.

Dave - Yeah! The car had grea leg and head room! No trays in the car we had, tho. But it was the size of a boat and hard to find parking space! I'll head over there soon!

Ray - The 'rents have a 97 Lincoln Towncar now and love it.
