Never heard of the singer you mentioned. Sippi Ambrose was my invisible friend as a child and he was from So America. I honor him by using his name as my internet moniker. Hope your mom had a good day!
Wallace was great. Bonnie Raitt covered a few of her songs on Raitt's earlier albums and some of Wallace's early (1920's) was re-issued a few years back. I was lucky enough to see her in concert back in NYC in the mid-80's.
