Gravatar Thanks for that post.

Looks like you quit at just the right time. Unfortunately, the "right" time hasn't yet come for me. I don't know what it's gonna take for me to want to stop.

But thanks.

Gravatar Good for you Lee. It's not an easy habit to break. I still have problems smoking a few when I have a cocktail.

Guess I need to quit drinking....

Gravatar Good on you. My advice: Don't ever have so much as a haul of one. Ever.

Gravatar Impressive... still try to cut it...

Gravatar I've smoked two puffs from a cigarette, that was enough for me.

Gravatar WOW.... something brought me to your site, and just in time. My target date for quitting smoking happens to be tomorrow, August 22, 2005. I've smoked for way too many years and I now know that I have two choices.... smoke or breathe. I'm choosing to breathe!
Thanks for the inspiration....

Hi dondon and welcome to my CyberWorld! Best of luck in quitting tomorrow! I hope yer successful!

Gravatar I quit a few years ago....I am one of those people who are able to cheat every now and again, then put it down for months. I always feels soo guilty when I cheat though, I should stop 100% forever!

I know myself too well to know that I couldn't cheat without any worries. I did that after I quit the first time (for 15 months) and I was right back up to my usual 2 packs/day so I knew I couldn't do that again this second time.
