Sorry for the headaches. I hope your dad calms down and your mom finds some solace. I know that's not easy--and not even realistic in some cases--but I hope so, just the same.

Oh my! You don't hear about this often. My sister and I used to joke about how our parents were grumpy, old farts around each other (they were 82 and 84) and how Mom should take a break from him and move "out". So she did. She moved from the upstairs to the downstairs of my sister's house! I'm not sure my sister was amused.

I hope your Mom finds the peace that she needs in her little break from Dad, and that Dad cools his jets a bit. I have to admit I giggled a little about the thought of Mom having an affair. The fact that he even thinks that made me think.."You Go Mama!" I hope Charlie still thinks I'm capable when I'm in my 80's!
