Somehow, I got so wrapped up in this whole thing that I spent the whole of Saturday evening (Chicago time) watching the returns come in on the Statistics' Office webpage. It'd have been more fun to watch paint dry.
Indeed, I did the same thing, only it was the middle of the night here. Such is the measure of my depravity - I spent a whole night gawping at the Statistics' Office webpage (refreshed every three minutes), trying to push down the results of SMER with my gaze.
I should have got drunk instead, at least there would be a real physical/chemical reason to vomit afterwards.
