Beautiful, Lene. "The glory that is by..." Thank you--I hadn't heard of Traherne before, and now I need to go read more. Can you just picture him delighting in my snowy egret strolling down the sidewalk yesterday?

"the fructifying sun..."
I was wondering where you were. There's such a broad array of poetry out there. I want to just stay home and read everything, but the world commands.

Wonderful poem. I enjoy hearing things like this read by people with accents who'll make "move" and "love" rhyme. And John, St. Brigid's Day is closer to Candlemas and Groundhog Day. The Pancakes move each year. In the right places it allows for two February feasts.
