I like how in the upper right corner of the picture of the Black-eyed Susan (which happens to be the state flower of my native Maryland), the photo looks as if it has been naturally dog-eared by the light. To mark the spot through the coming winter, so you can always find it right away. Cool.

Black-eyed Susans will always remind me of my grandmother's back yard, nothing manicured, next to an abandoned overgrown lot my grandfather used to clear with a scythe.
