I'll repeat what I said earlier - Veritas may have some mileage in it! Unfortunately, populist anti-Europe anti-tax anti-immigration ideas do have a substantive base of support among certain sections of the electorate, and RKS is a well-known figure.

Another thought, on similar lines: though to us on the outside, UKIP's machinations and slanging matches and the rest is a source of great amusement, one of the reasons they're fighting like dogs in a sack is they've all smelt the fresh steak of power. (Or something.) Someone amongst this rabble might well grab a big(ish) prize, if they can crack through to that mass of unpleasant anti-migrant, little England feeling out there.

If memory serves, it had the guy from That`s Life on it (not Doc), a wheezing old Labour peer who looks like he`ll drop dead at any minute, and Jimmy himself pledsing that the Ref Perty seeks "NO POWER FOR ITSELF!" And in that, it achieved its aim. You`re in for a treat, though its not as good as the song.
