Lenin’s Tomb

Same tactic was used in the 2006 Lebanon invasion to excuse targeting of civilian buildings. The IDF got away with it that time to a greater degree in the media; with the usual apologists defending them in media. It is good see that they aren't being allowed to pull the same trick twice.

This is of course a propaganda campaign with the outside world and Western public opinion in particular in mind; within Israel and amongst most Israelis you will find quite an open admission of what really occurs and its acceptance in such situations.

Yeah, Qana is a very good example of this. They had every reason to expect evidence from the ground to disprove their ruse, (that Hezbollah had used the building as a base from which to launch Katyusha rockets). Moreover, they knew that few would find that an acceptable reason to blow up a three-storey block of flats filled with sleeping civilians. They just didn't really care all that much how believable or acceptable it was.

On that 'genocide' thing.

A very compelling sketch of how utterly the rationale of the Israeli government fails.

The goal of terrorizing the civilian population into submission is readily apparent.

Mafia thugs making an example of how irrational and ruthless they are--all designed with the insane notion that the Palestinians will submit.

The guiding notion of imperialism and terror wars of agression is that 'might makes right'.

It never really works--not in most cases. However, maybe the Israelis are using the US terror of America's indigenous population as a model. This is a rightwing mafia notion, and they refuse to examine their own crimes and part in strengthening the reaction of Palestinian resistance. This is truly a pathological mindset we are seeing.

This is anecdotal, but I have met so many fundamentally decent Palestinians over the years. As well, peacenick Jews are some of the most loving and intellectually astute voices speaking out against this continued, US endorsed, terrorism.

Respect, love, and empathy simply have to be stronger than the cynical forces of barbarity and revenge that seem to fuel this pathetic cycle.

Air Force strikes Rafah targets

Earlier, Palestinian sources reported that an Israeli aircraft dropped leaflets over the Rafah refugee camp, urging residents to flee because of planned Israeli strikes. The leaflet addressed Rafah residents of a strip of neighborhoods that run parallel to the Egypt border.

"Because Hamas uses your houses to hide and smuggle military weapons, the IDF will attack the area, between the Egyptian border and the beach road," the leaflet said, according a local UN official.

The leaflet included the names of four neighborhoods expected to be hit by the IDF, and instructed locals to immediately leave their homes. "For your safety and for the safety of your children – follow the instructions in this announcement," the leaflet read.

Meanwhile, sources in Gaza City said that an IDF fighter jet fired two missiles at a mosque in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood. The Palestinians said the mosque was completely destroyed and that the blast could be heard throughout the northern Gaza Strip.

After the leaflets were dropped, about 5,000 fled to two UN schools turned into temporary shelters, the official said. *

The IDF mentality seems to be that killing is a good thing, and if you can wipe out a school or hospital while killing one or two "terrorists" (militia members) so much the better. The US Army in Vietnam had similar ideas, as did the Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS in the Ukraine and Russia. It's all about getting "combat time" in the soldier's "book", and if they do well enough they will be promoted or win medals. However, nobody wants to fight in a city; too many nooks and crannies for snipers to hide in or boobytraps to be laid, so they bomb or shell the city to the point where no five-story building has four whole walls and THEN they send in the infantry. Usually it does not go very well (because the snipers and the boobytraps are still there) which is why if you can avoid fighting in a city you don't go in there (the same can be said of swamps and heavily forrested areas.) With this "war" it seems that bloody murder is the goal, so the Zahalniks will fight in the cities despite their casualties because the ratio of Palestinian deaths to Israeli is 150 to 1 (so far.)

BBC's impartial reporting: "the BBC's man in Jerusalem, Tim Franks, is himself a graduate of Habonim Dror, a Zionist youth movement..."

A snapshot into the realities of Israel’s war on "Hamas targets":

On Sunday, the IDF ordered 100 members of an extended family to gather in a single house, then repeatedly shelled that house, killing 60-70 people, and then prevented ambulances and aid workers from attending to the injured by shooting at them.

sorry - it happened on Monday, not Sunday.

Slave Revolt I would like to agree with you. I hope and pray that peaceful pressure within Europe and the US, lead by liberal Jews, and enlightened people across the spectrum will prevail. But I am convinced that it is only after the balance of power begins to swing against the USraelian Empire that AIPAC's grip on Washington will start to be prized loose.

My namesake, the barbarian king, didn't in the end sack Rome because he was deterred by the moral authority of Pope Leo to spare the city. Maybe the apartheid wall can be peacefully dismantled.

But if not after me comes Alaric.

Good point on the military aspect Strelnikov. Similar things happened after D Day - the RAF bombed Caen flat killing vast numbers of French civilians. Then the Allies found they couldn't get their tanks through the rubble and Mr German was still there with his bazookas, grenades, snipers and machine guns. Taking Caen was hell and the whole campaign got bogged down.

And that actually was a just war, in so far as such a thing is possible. Not much comfort for all the liberated French corpses. Or those firebombed in Dresden come to that. How many women and children did we burn alive in that one?

The neocons constantly propagandise about WW2 as the Good War and invoke it to justify their latter day crusades with the West's latest enemy supposedly a new Hitler.

Difference now is very few of the politicians have a clue what war is actually like, certainly in Britain. Maybe it's different in the US

Kosovo was a catastrophe, not only because it set a precedent for tearing up international law and throwing the rule book away, but because it gave Bomber Blair and his bushy tailed acolytes the idea that wars could be won by airstrikes alone.

In Kosovo NATO was acting as the KLAs air force. In Iraq there was no equivalent of the KLA, except Hitchens' beloved Kurds, who are irrelevant in most of the country.

But this USraelian orgy cannot continue. The lesson of history is that no tyranny is forever, not even Zion. As Blackadder said, in my day we were used to mowing down natives with spears. Was a bit of a shock when several million heavily armed Germans turned up.

For Germany then read China now.

[...]
Ireland, according to foreign ministry officials, is currently one of the European countries most antagonistic to Israel, and a country where the hostility of the press is matched by the tone of the government.

An example of the toxic environment in Ireland is a letter published in the Irish Times on Monday by Irish politician Chris Andrews calling Israel's action state terrorism and calling for the expulsion of Israel's ambassador to Ireland.

According to Foreign Ministry assessments, the mood is similar in Spain, where a hostile press is also reflected in a government line that is extremely critical.

The other European countries that fall into this category are Greece and Cyprus.

+++The situation is somewhat better in England, where some of the media coverage has been blatantly anti-Israel - like the Guardian - while other media have taken a more balanced approach.

Sources in the Foreign Ministry, who have never shied away from criticizing the BBC coverage in the past, have said that this time the BBC showed an effort at airing Israel's side of the story fairly.

There are also no complaints that Israeli speakers are not getting on the air, or not getting equal air time. +++

Britain has been the site of some high-profile demonstrations against the operation, including one on Saturday featuring singer Annie Lennox and Bianca Jagger.

According to government officials, the vast majority of the protests abroad, some 80 percent of them, have been organized by Arab or Muslim organizations and are attended mostly by Arabs and Muslims.

As such, their impact on government policy is not that great, although celebrity attendance at these events creates a "buzz" and does set a certain public tone.

mike, can you do a quick mikey explanation for james's link. Here it is again:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/...-killed- 70.html

By the way, where's Jim Denham? Shouldn't he be denouncing us?

did you catch the news on aljazeera (i think) of that guy with two small children shot dead with bullet holes in the head and chest? there was a video of him showing the camera the small bullet hole wounds of what he said was sniper fire.

"For conflict pauses of different durations (i.e., periods of time when no one is killed on either side), we show here the percentage of times from the Second Intifada in which Israelis ended the period of nonviolence by killing one or more Palestinians (black), the percentage of times that Palestinians ended the period of nonviolence by killing Israelis (grey), and the percentage of times that both sides killed on the same day (white). Virtually all periods of nonviolence lasting more than a week were ended when the Israelis killed Palestinians first. We include here the data from all pause durations that actually occurred.

Thus, a systematic pattern does exist: it is overwhelmingly Israel, not Palestine, that kills first following a lull. Indeed, it is virtually always Israel that kills first after a lull lasting more than a week."

In this report about the attack on the school, the Israeli spokesperson expresses surprise that Hamas would "booby-trap their own people":
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8...h? v=8rGOWkWYqJ4.

This is the logic of reprisals: one occupier killed, one hundred villagers will be shot. And a smug spokesperson materialises to say they brought it on themselves. The US international school in Gaza was levelled the other day by Israel. It was the best, most progressive school in Gaza and it was hated by extremists there.

To Mike who said " the idea that they bomb civilians for no reason at all is a stretch too far":

"Forty civilian refugees dead in a United Nations school, three more in another. Not bad for a night's work in Gaza by the army that believes in "purity of arms". But why should we be surprised?

Have we forgotten the 17,500 dead – almost all civilians, most of them children and women – in Israel's 1982 invasion of Lebanon; the 1,700 Palestinian civilian dead in the Sabra-Chatila massacre; the 1996 Qana massacre of 106 Lebanese civilian refugees, more than half of them children, at a UN base; the massacre of the Marwahin refugees who were ordered from their homes by the Israelis in 2006 then slaughtered by an Israeli helicopter crew; the 1,000 dead of that same 2006 bombardment and Lebanese invasion, almost all of them civilians?" (Robert Fisk, The Independent: http://www.independent.co.uk/opi...sk- 1230046.html.

"best, most progressive school" should be in quotes. It's from an earlier R.F./Independent article.

"According to Foreign Ministry assessments, the mood is similar in Spain, where a hostile press is also reflected in a government line that is extremely critical."

I wouldn't call the press hostile. I was listening to Radio Exterior de Espana tonight, and the completely neutral tone they adopt when reporting on Gaza is refreshing. Just 'Israeli tanks fired on ... killing ...' with no apparent need to balance things by jabbering on about Hamas rockets, Palestinian defiance, etc. News as news, without the propaganda filter.

Thanks for this post, Lenin. I find your arguments extremely thorough and useful. I'm so frustrated at the amount of double-think out there this is very clarifying.

The neoliberal politicians in Delhi are hugely supportive of Israel because the US is cultivating them, and good relations with the US helps technology transfer to Bangalore. Plus the army wants Pentagon toys in its standoff with Pakistan.

But there are more Muslims in India than the whole of Pakistan. If India's elites are fool enough to join the USraelian clash of civlisations with Islam rather

As for China it will do business with anyone. Beijing doesn't give a toss about the suffering Palestinians, any more than Washington or London does. But it certainly wants markets in the Muslim world plus access to natural resources. Also one way to show you're not to be messed with and to develop your arms industry is to sell weapons to clients and allies and see how your toys compare with red white and blue ones in proxy wars.

The Chinese will want to win the geopolitical chessgame, not set the board on fire by actually destroying the state of Israel. But counterbalancing India by supplying Pakistan with firecrackers that go walkabout...that is possible.

Especially if the liberal neocon crusade in Afghanistan destablises Pakistan.

At the very least this is one big card China can play when the time comes to replace the dollar as the world's reserve currency with minimal temper tantrums from Uncle Sam.

In any event it is not necessary for China to come in on Palestine's side directly. If and when the Muslim world learns how to modernise itself the way China has done that alone would do the business.

Look at how China was destitute in the Seventies and where it is now. Nowhere is it written that the Arab and Muslim countries will always be as weak as they are today.

mike at 00.50...when platoons or regiments of very powerful armies do what is described in that article, it is neither a 'mistake' or 'wreckless' and it is obscene to suggest that it is either of these things. For over a hundred years, the military powers of countries all over the world have developed an obscene form of knowledge: how to kill civilians; how to prevent people helping those who are injured; how to hide the fact (or attempt to hide the fact) that the civilians were killed. It's a story that has hardly been told, we don't know for example how the information on methodology has been shared. All we know is that modern armies are extremely good at it. This suggests to me that such episodes aren't mistakes and they aren't 'wreckless'. In fact they are precisely the opposite of both words. They are planned and careful. People are carefully killed and it's done in a non-mistakeful way. For some of the methods being used in Gaza, look at the last years of the German occupation of France. Look at the way reprisals were taken against whole French villages, look at the way in which the loss of one Wehrmacht soldier from the firing of one pre-First World War carbine, was presented by the Nazi press as a major terrorist attack and was therefore replied to with the laying waste of whole villages, done systematically, in an organised way.

Why would we think that the Israelis are doing anything different? They want to win this war. Their military people are clearly people who've studied military history. It is possible to smash and defeat the leadership of a people (and so, for a while, defeat the people) and the Israeli military wouldn't want to do it in an amateur mistakey sort of a way.

Nice try, mike.

If you've ever seen Martin Scorsese's film Gangs of New York you will know that in the mid nineteenth century Catholics, especially Irish Catholic immigrants to the US were regarded with almost as much hostility as European Muslims are today.

It took time for the Irish American community to acquire enough clout in business and elsewhere to become a formidable political lobby that no Washington politican could ignore. But it happened to the point where Irish America was a serious strategic threat to the British Empire and made it that much harder for Roosevelt to enter the war on Britain's side.

Eventually the European Muslims will be strong enough in businees, the professions, politics and the media to be a decisive force in the EU and force it to break with the (by then far weaker) US and impose sanctions on the apartheid state, just as the US prevented Britain from crossing the line too often in Northern Ireland.

It won't be just the European Muslims either, by that point Europe's national interests will dictate good relations with the Arab and Muslim world. Muslim money and the potential threat to national security will not allow Europe to indulge the Israelis indefinitely.

I foresee a ten mile wide asteroid will hit the earth at Trafalgar Square making the area of the present British Isles into a formation like the Gulf of Mexico. So we'll have nothing to worry about.

Didn't Einstein say something like, "I don't know with what weapons the third world war will be fought, but it's certain that the one after that will be fought with sticks and stones." (?) Never mind. Go back to mud wrestling.

Things to bombard, people to kill.

Re India if they are fool enough to ally with the USraelians rather than come to a sensible compromise with Pakistan on the Kashmir problem and focusing on good relations with China India will be seriously damaged.

India's terrorist problem has nothing to do with Al Qaida nor is does it share a monolithic Islamist threat alongside Israel; that is simply neocon propaganda.

The situation in the subcontinent is a separate matter. It is caused by the Kashmir issue plus discrimination against India's Muslims by the Hindu far right.

For India's secular republic to work they cannot afford to indulge in Islamophobia Western style.

Highly unlikely that Chinese Muslims in the north west province are going to obstruct China's foreign policy either.

Time will tell. Obviously the future is impossible to predict in detail. But you don't have to have a crystal ball to realise that this is not going to be the American century. It will be the Asian century.

I can't prove that one of the key elements of the new Asia, along with Confucianism, will be a reformed Islam that in the long run will decommission aparthied Zion. But it's a very good bet.

It seems that there are allegations of war crimes committed by both sides in this conflict, and a concomitant down-playing of allegations of crimes committed by the supported side.
Certainly the incident linked to by JamieSW and discussed by Michael Rosen and Mike is potentially very serious indeed, and if true, and the shelling of civilians was intentional seems to me to be a major war crime.
However, I would side with Mike on this, but not for the same reasons - I don't believe that any allegation can be taken as true in a situation where a propaganda war is also (inevitably) taking place.
Note to Michael Rosen - do you think perhaps the arcane knowledge of which you speak could be contained in military training manuals?

Michael, I'd guess Jim Denham is watching war porn at home. He must be very happy about the mass murder going on.

By the way, the information in the Telegraph article is, of course, unconfirmed. Since Israel doesn't allow any Western journalists into Gaza, and by the standards of Western media, only something witnessed by a Western journalist - or better yet, admitted by an official spokesperson - is "confirmed", it can, in fact, never be confirmed.

Such is the beauty of total control. The targets of the crimes know they occur, and are - the commander hopes as he orders another "strike" - appropriately frightened. Meanwhile, the imperial elites can ignore the crimes, because they are, after all, not confirmed.

dougr: there are no war crimes to speak of committed by Hamas. There is simply no comparison. In addition, all so-called war crimes committed by the Palestinians are reported ad nauseam. The US media are full of them.

Whether or not hamas fighters, were in the building, which I don't believe for a moment, Israel deliberately shelled the building knowing that it was a UN school and that civilians including children would be there.

That's quite damning enough, as even Mike admits.

It means that rather than sending in their heroic and glorious IDF soldiers to secure the building or surrounding it they chose to slaughter civilians wholesale. Israel culture is such that a) they are too cowardly to take casualties of their own and b) they really do believe that a Jewish life is worth forty plus Arabs. They are not only cowards but racist cowards.

God help them if Hamas ever upgrades itself to Hizbullah's league.

I suspect it's a tough time for mike. A lot of hope is wrapped up in Israel for what I think of as the non-resident zionists. They sit well away from Israel (apart from holidays by the Med) and create a fantasy world for themselves that this place on the by the sea is theirs. In fact, if truth be told, they're very happy here in the UK and if asked to leave or even rudely told 'go and live in Israel' they would denounce this instantly as antisemitism. However, they have an image of Israel, as their safe haven, a noble dream, and has given them, they say, 'a sense of nationhood'. But this is an illusory sense of nationhood because their nationhood is here. This is where they express that part of their being that could be called nation-ist, or as being part of a nation state or country. So what they do is cheer on people simply and only because they are Jews: go on you Jews, do your best, fight all those who don't want us to have our nation etc etc.

So the terrible history of the last 60 years is told as a story of brave little Israel standing up to those massive forces that would obliterate it, (thereby effacing the fact that they have the biggest brother of all backing them up, and engineering all the foul and horrible ways of treating those who were once within the territory of Israel and all those surrounding.) Any act of resisting this state of affairs has been given a terrible hammering. The uneven death tolls of the two sides over the last sixty years is something you'll never see cited regularly in zionist discourse.

So, mike and pals are having what is known in yiddish as 'spilkes', a sense of anxiety and nerves that can be located somewhere in the stomach region. Can it be possible that their beloved nation (where they choose not to live) could do beastly things? Well, clearly not. Why not? Because they are Jews and Jews don't do bad things. So when there is the faintest possibility that some Jews, a tiny, tiny group of Jews wearing uniforms armed with very powerful weapons might, just might, have done something beastly, then it's pretty obvious that the reason for this must either be it was a 'mistake' (someone got the clip stuck on his uzi) or it was wreckless (a general had got over-excited in his wish to defend the nation, perhaps had hyped himself up with a passage from the Torah where the Jews had visited a plague of locusts on their oppressors or some such)...and so was 'wreckless'.

And then I suppose it's back to the couch and more zing zing zing zappp on the Playstation world of Newscast blitzkreigs.

Dear Reader,

Do appreciate that my friends at Harry's Place are too busy in their important work in the fight against those ‘Islaming’ type people to answer my regular inquiries so kindly bear with me. (I know this because even when I write to them agreeing with their sensible proposals in the fight against the dark side, they seem too busy to answer me; even when I attach my special disguise 'moniker' 'Mike'.

Anyway, as they all seem awfully busy I thought that, even though your website is named 'ironically' after a dangerous revolutionary, and indeed as the nice people at Harry's say, you are all secret minions (my mum suggested that word; good isn't it?) of the dark one, I would take a risk to ask you a few questions about some of your curious views.
I mean, I have met some of these Israeli types you talk about and found them to be jolly nice fellows. Not the kind of people at all that would ever point a gun at an innocent person, never mind those big tank shell things that are capable of some very nasty damaging.
So when you say that these people (who, as I know, look just like us!) fired one of these very nasty guns at a big United Nations compounds (and might I tell you, some of my soldiers likewise have blue helmets!) I just don't believe its true.

I have therefore come to the conclusion that someone is telling porkies. As I know full well that the Israeli people are so kind that they don't even eat pork, my conclusion is that it must be you: the revolutionary minions of the dark one.
Is it true?

I remain, dear reader,
Your most humble and obedient servant

Adrian

no we dont(thankfully enough!!). sorry to burst the bubble, but though we have a centrist govt with a tendency to slavering towards the US, the situation is not as bad as made out to be, yet.

Mike,
What you are is a waste of space, time & effort. Any 1 of your comments could easily be batted out of the park, but there's so fucking many of them.

"I am opposed to this Israeli action"
Bullshit. You can't even bring yourself to call it what it is: deliberate, planned mass-murder. If you we're opposed to it you wouldn't use such spineless euphemisms & make the same tired old excuses we hear EVERY time the US, UK or Israel indulge in massive state terrorism.

The 'mistakes' are deliberate. The 'aberrations' are the rule.

Good point/correct observation.
Well, that is what is considered as hostile and extremely critical by the Zionist Israeli/US propaganda machine.
Which then just goes to show how well out of whack the BBC's "acceptable/balanced" reporting really is.
Ekk

Ekk: The irish media is pretty much in line with the rest of the media (pro-israel). Israeli spokespeople get considerably more air time & column inches then Palestinian spokespeople & it is very obvious the media are doing this. What Chris Andrews is reacting to is the demonstrations that have taken place over the last week accross the country. If those demos weren't there he'd say nothing of note. Demos have been good here (not as big as London). 2000 last Saturday 1000 tuesday night @ israeli/egyptian embassies. Another demo saturday expecting similiar numbers. Pickets of israeli embassy ongoing in the hundreds. Not to mention demos in Cork, Galway, Tralee, Derry, Omagh, Belfast and Limerick. people are seeing through the zionists lies regardless of what they say.

.
Maybe in future the UN will exercise their power to keep terrorists from launching missiles from their schools at Israel.
This is not a border dispute. Muslim Fundamentalist want ALL Jews dead and gone. Period.

The delusional insanity of some on the Left and a few on the Right about this is frightening. They ignore all facts and logic. Hamas, a terrorist organization killing the so-called Palestinians' hope for peace, are evil garbage, they must be eliminated. They have sent thousands, yes thousands of missiles into Israel over the past couple of years and Israel had never exercised their right of self-defense, until recently, when Hamas broke the ceasefire and started firing rockets again.

Israel is FINALLY doing the right thing. If Hamas is destroyed, then, if the rest of the 'Palestinians' really want peace they can give up their dream of destroying Israel, if not, they will never have peace.

Israel must destroy as much of Hamas as possible before the MSM and the idiots and ignorants whine loud enough for them to stop. They must only quit when they are ready.
.

And furthermore:
.
For EVERY missile shot into Israel at least ONE missile should be returned to the area as close as possible to the shooter. Tit for tat. Every single missile should be returned. Period. Treat them like adults, if they kill, they will be killed. If they send missiles, they will receive them. That is the only way they will learn. Screw public opinion, force them to see the truth, or let them be damned.

A separation wall that strangles the life out of a territory. The annexation of war-clawed land, expropriation, oppression, inviting foreigners from anywhere in the world to settle in Israel, anyone except the people who were pushed out and who are waiting to go back, massacres, demolition of housing, uprooting of olive groves, mass detentions, official torture, nuclear weapons production, illegal actions in international waters, abductions by Mossad of people overseas, repeated invasions and destructions of neighbouring countries, thousands of tons of explosives dropped on comparatively defenceless people, United Nations peacekeepers bombed and treated with contempt, (and I have that first hand from a former Irish peacekeeper - the IDF totally ignored UN checkpoints in Lebanon, and shot at the ground to "make Lebanese people dance" for example), any one of those justifies resistance. I don't like rockets, I don't like any violence, but when I see brutal oppressive violence, ethnic cleansing, annexation, expansion, bombing, destruction of farmland and I might add some very smug looking apologists, which I really cannot fathom - but recognise as analogous to the deluded and out-of-touch as the apartheid supporters before the liberation of South Africa were - when I see this, it does not surprise me that the people being oppressed try to fight back. It only surprises me that others are purblind to what any child could see, if it could open its eyes again, after it has been US-missile blasted to bits.

Oh and Tony Blair is "depressed" - he finds it "depressing". Ol' Dubya will be going back to the ranch. The good ol' boys. Did you know they use the same toothpaste. I hope somebody in the staff- there must be infiltration underway- cleaned the toilets in El Rancho Grande with the toothbrushes.

Actually, people like Blair and Bush probably make damn sure they know where there toothbrushes are at all times. There probably isn't one person in the world other than Dick Cheney who given the opportunity wouldn't shove Blair's and Brush's toothbrushes somewhere very, very unpleasant. Almost unpleasant as their mouths.

Just a jolly aside. Does no harm while waiting in the trenches for the next wave of stupid futility.

I hope I am seeing a change in the media focusing on the Palestinian suffering and the Israeli's pathetic lies. Israel denies concern for world opinion. Do they say this because they are beginning to notice less sympathy for their crimes?

I fell for the line re: Joe the Plumber and did a Google. What I found was a remark made by JtP, aka: Sam Wurzelbacher back in Oct: "a vote for Obama would mean the death of Israel". Seems Sam is as astute as our friend Mike.

All real freedom starts with freedom of speech. Without freedom of speech there can be no real freedom.

i would think freedom from having white phosphorous and assorted incendiaries dumped on you would be a better start than free speech.

What surprises me a little, being an ex squadie, in the 60´s we used to have a defence weapon called the green archer. This green archer would within seconds track any fired missile and relay the trajectory to artillery which was sometimes up to 30 kilometres away, and within minutes the start of the trajectory was heavily bombarded. I hardly believe this has been discontinued, or maybe it doesn´t kill enough people.

It seems there was a Zionist counter-demo outside their HQ in London last night and the police arrested 10 pro-Palestinians.

Lenin, great post, but I wonder what exactly the point is to these obvious lies. Maybe a loyalty test: believe the lie and you're aligned with us, point out the lie and you're opposed?
The question, of course, is why do the Israelis even bother with propaganda when it is obvious that they won't be brought up on war crimes charges?

James Holder @ 17:49 --

It's because they know history is written by the winners, and they want the historical account to be as obfuscatory and glowing as possible.

It's also because many fools, eedjits and troggos believe what they hear, even if some (or perhaps many) of us know the pathetically twisted propaganda nature of the stories offered.

Psy-ops is a specialty of the murderous Israeli hawks. They believe strongly in the suppleness of the story, the need to constantly massage it for maximal pro-Zion effectd.

They are just employing taqiyya (lying in the pursuit of Jihad) with these anti-Zionist Jews. Those Jews would be killed or enslaved last.
Here's a more benign definition:

Did you even read the wikipedia article you linked?

God of the Universe says use Zionist cliches and so I do

God of the Universe says defend slaughter of innocents, if I can do a lot of killing and you know I can just read the Old Testament then so can my chosen people.

God of the Unvierse says ethnic cleansing is fine as long as your Jewish and the target is Arab.

God of the Universe says believe Israeli lies no matter how outrageous, the UN must be bad if the hasbara says so, God of the Universe says actual proof doesn't matter.

God of the Universe says he is tired of being used as a prop by that mentally subpar USpace.

LOL! Great! Yes Andrew, I read it. It didn't mention the Jihad part, I know, but it fits in that framework. If I had sent you a link to numerous experts on Islamic Fundamentalism explaining Taqiyya you would have just screamed NAZI! and not even read it.

Speaking of Nazis, many Nazis have converted to Islam because they feel it must be the only true 'Religion' since the Koran speaks so much about the evils of the Jooos.

I'm not surprised at your reaction FAKE NAME. Most Leftists, Communists, Nazis, terrorists and their apologists, anti-semites, racists, bigots, so-called 'progressives', and so-called caring 'liberals' hate most of my stuff.

The truth hurts, and politics is not religion.

"If I had sent you a link to numerous experts on Islamic Fundamentalism explaining Taqiyya you would have just screamed NAZI! and not even read it."

Just because someone poses as an expert on a topic they know nothing about doesn't mean they're a Nazi. Plus there's a good chance I've already read it one way or another.

What distinguished the Nazis? They saw Germanic blood as the rightful masters of Europe and tried to exterminate/enslave inferior races.

The German Communists were the only major opposition the Nazis had before they took power. So lumping them together is kind of... stupid.

Fuck off and don't come back USpace until you take at least one bite of a reality sandwhich, on second thought you'd better eat the whole damn thing!

You're so mean. :(

Report: Hamas Stealing Aid Supplies to Sell to Residents

Grim picture of Gazans’ lives painted by reports emerging from Strip, claiming gunmen hiding in civilian homes, using residents as human shields, and hijacking trucks of humanitarian aid.

They ignore all facts and logic. Hamas, a terrorist organization killing the so-called Palestinians' hope for peace, are evil garbage, they must be eliminated.

What's stopping you, parshoin?
Try a big bowl of Zionist chikenhawk soup.

Come on Lenin! Mooser,

Excellent! Chicken soup actually works very good for a cold and flu. Scientists have found that it is something in the blood of the chicken that makes it work.

True Chickenhawks fire missiles from schools and apartment buildings, keep civilians from fleeing, and purposely risk getting some of their civilians killed so they can cry foul.

Have a reality sandwich or better yet a feast. God bless you.

:)
