Ah, to be young and in my cooking phase . . .
Does your family realize how blessed they are to have you as wife, mother and lover?

Hi Leslie,
I have decided you must be the Queen of the Crockpot! I made popsicles yesterday, also - the Pina Colada ones, substituting rum flavoring for the rum as I don't have Bacardi sitting around the house all the time . Are you enjoying the kitchen so much since school is out? That is what I found myself doing last week, our first week out of school -- baking, trying new recipes, making desserts every night - I so enjoyed it. Enjoy the rest of the week and check out something I read about - www.roundtop-marburger.com - a farm antique show that I hope to attend this October (Lord-willing) when I visit my Mom.
Love,
Susan in almost sunny Germany

Very much so, Linda Sue. And, then again, not nearly as much as we should...

Hey Leslie!
I just thought I would share something with my nacho recipe. Have you tried broiling after you put the cheese on? It makes the chips extra crispy and the cheese is really melty. (Is that a word?)
Carry on! Another great blog from you!
